Private Tours
There is no need to wait until October to experience the Ghosts of Kalamazoo Historic Tour – JCI Kalamazoo offers private group tours!
The private tour option will cover locations and content that has been included in past tours. Your group may select from four different tours.
- Downtown Kalamazoo
- Mountain Home Cemetery
- Riverside Cemetery
- Celery Flats
- Western Michigan University’s East Campus
Tour cost
The cost of private Ghosts of Kalamazoo Tours will be $15 per person for groups under 10 people. For groups over 10 people it is $10 per person. Group size maxes out at 25 people to ensure everyone can adequately hear the tour guide.
Private Tours policies
- Tour date availability is based on the availability of the JCI Kalamazoo Volunteers and in the case of the East Campus tour, WMU’s parking availability.
- Payments will be accepted in the form of check or money order (payable to the JCI Kalamazoo).
- Groups purchasing multiple tours can spread tours over multiple days.
- A deposit of 50% of the total cost is due 30 days prior to the tour.
- A full refund of the deposit will be issued if the tour is canceled 24 hours or more in advance of the tour.
- Groups failing to show up for the tour or canceling less than 24 hours from the tour start time will forfeit deposit.
- Tours not recommended for children under the age of 12.
- Participation in tours are at your own risk, JCI Kalamazoo and any other entity or organization associated with the tour shall not be held liable for any accident or incident that occurs while participating in the tour(s) and a waiver will be required.
