What’s a Jaycee?
Our organization is the Kalamazoo chapter of Junior Chamber International or JCI. We are the local chapter under JCI Michigan, JCI USA, and our parent organization JCI. Members are affectionately known as “Jaycees.” We are the leading global network of young active citizens. Members in Kalamazoo are between the ages of 18 and 40. Our focus is on developing ourselves as leaders through our experiences within JCI.

Our members have the opportunity to attend Leadership Conferences with other members of JCI Michigan, JCI USA, and even attend the annual Conference of the America’s or JCI World Congress where members from all over the world engage and interact.
JCI Members get discounts on insurance, prescriptions, hotels, rental cars and more. JCI Members are also recognized in many business communities as the “go to” people and the experiences members gain within JCI have helped many Jaycees start new careers or advance their current ones. While members do age out at 40, the friendships made in JCI last a lifetime.
